It may be August but, as always, the autumn collections are in the shops. Here are a few things that caught my eye (likelihood of buying any of it: probably zilch.)
First off, I have always thought Mulberry should make The Bayswater in a grainy red. Voila. Shame about the price tag…
It’s looking like Brogues are going to be everywhere this autumn. I picked up a ridiculously comfy pair in Clarks last year, but these Boden brogues are… beautiful. I love that they come with matching and contrasting laces too.
I am also developing a bit of a love affair with patterned skirts. Loving this Tabitha number from Anthropologie’s new collection. Think it would be an autumnal dream with a pair of riding boots and a white shirt..
Red leather jackets also seem to be popping up everywhere. This Jacket from Oasis at ASOS is gorgeous – love the deep burgundy and stitching on the back. There’s also a nice faux leather one at H&M at a fraction of the price.
Last but not least, some pretty baubles. On top, a beautiful cuff from (you guessed it) Monica Vinader’s new siren collection. I love the uneven hammering of the gold. Underneath, some simple yet very pretty woven silver wire studs from Accessorize.
