I’ve just realised it is my blogiversary! One year ago I finally plucked up the courage to start OWIBL, something I had been wanting to do for ages. Thank you to anyone who has read, commented, shared or just had a peek at my blog over the last year. It has been an absolute blast and I hope to continue blogging for a long long time.
To celebrate I am going to let you in a little secret. It involves eating out. In London.
Shocking, I know.
Secret Squirrel is a mystery dining platform that allows food lovers in London go and mystery dine at select locations. Each Sunday they put up a list of restaurants and locations available for the following week. You simply register your interest in the places you fancy, and squirrel (wahey, see what I did there) away some nuts in case you aren’t a lucky squirrel that week. So far in the last few weeks I have eaten at several different Byron locations, had a takeaway lunch at epic bakery Konditor and Cook, and had breakfast at The Breakfast Club. It works an absolute TREAT.
‘What’s ze catch’ I hear you say. Well there ain’t one sonny jim! All you have to do in return in fill out an online form about your experience, which generally takes a maximum of 15 minutes. You then take a snapshot of your receipt, email it over to Squirrel HQ, and the Squirrel dollar is in your account within 5 working days. Capiche?
If you still don’t believe me, read on below. This weekend I headed to Byron Putney with some buddies to eat free burgers.
My ‘go to’ Byron burger is the Cheeseburger with American cheese, avocado and spicy BBQ sauce on the side. Phwoar… this badboy makes my heart sing.
Byron isn’t just about the perfectly cooked, juicy burgers – the sides are pretty darn good too. I love the courgette fries, french fries, onion rings, macaroni cheese… oh the list could go on forever.
Anyway I’ll stop rambling about burgers and give you, dear reader, what you really want. The link to free food galore. Do it now!
Big love and again, thanks for reading.
