I am a film fanatic. I haven’t talked much about films on my blog before, but there’s nothing I enjoy more than going to the cinema. It’s probably one of the only social activities I’d be happy to do on my own – although I’d be frustrated afterwards not being able to discuss it!
There are lots of amazing films out this Autumn and Winter, so I thought I’d share with you all a few I’m particularly excited about… I’m a sucker for a good movie trailer.
Anchorman has to be my all time favourite comedy. Needless to say I’m pretty hyped for part two…
I haven’t heard anything along the grapevine about The Secret life of Walter Mitty, I just stumbled upon the trailer on youtube. I don’t know what it is, the music, the scenery, or just the fact that is features Ben Stiller, but I am intrigued.
Unfortunately I think the UK might have missed out on Magic Magic in the cinemas, but hopefully I might be able to track down a DVD. I’m a big horror fan and this trailer (particularly Michael Cera) petrified me…
I. must. see. this. film. I’ve loved pretty much everything Joseph Gordon Levitt has been in since 3rd Rock from the sun, and Don Jon is his feature length writing/directing debut. Plus, check out that accent on Scarlett Johansson. Holey moley!
And finally, written by the writers of 500 days of Summer, The Spectacular Now looks like a perfect Sunday afternoon coming of age story. I’m particularly excited to see Shailene Woodley, who in my opinion stole the show in the Descendents with George Clooney.
Looks like I’ll be spending my winter inside with lots of popcorn.
