It’s taken me a while to get round to the final load of Thailand photos, but I’m finally putting them up!
We went to Phuket mainly so Maya (who had to leave early) could get back up to Bangkok to get her flight home. We’d heard some pretty nasty reviews of Patong, the main ‘party’ area of Phuket but we decided to give it a go regardless. The reviews weren’t completely wrong, but it wasn’t the glorious Thailand we’d come to know in most other places we’d visited. Nevertheless, we spent a day chilling on Patong beach before heading to our airport hotel, where Fran met the love of her life…. A puppy. We named him Hans Mcfluffy.
Pretty lights in our hotel.
Foot massage time…
After Maya had been dropped off at the airport in a rather interesting fashion (kicked out of a taxi into some mud, nice) myself and the Frans headed off on a boat trip round Phang Nga Marine National Park. PNB features 42 islands and a shed load of beautiful scenery, perfect for cruising around on a speed boat.
James Bond island, as featured in ‘The Man With the Golden Gun’.
Can you spot the elephant?
Cheesy, but this man knew how to get a tip out of us!
Coconuts don’t come much fresher than this…
Take me back? Real life just isn’t as fun.
