This was the first time I’ve ever stayed in an all inclusive resort style hotel, and part of me definitely had reservations. Eating in the same place every evening? Hmmm. Not leaving the hotel for days on end? Hmmm. Seeing the same people day in day out? Normally not my thang.
But this. was. awesome.
Here’s a few of the highlights…
Padding to our room barefoot through the squidgiest grass I’ve ever had the delight to encounter.
Palm trees in the middle of the pools. So you could grab a little shade when swimming, if you should so fancy.
The children’s club pirate boat. I wanted to get on it so badly.
Freckled face selfies.
Spending an entire 10 days with this one.
Chuckling at Andy’s pinky legs. And then making him slather on the factor 50 the day after.
These insane views over sunset cocktails.
More o’ this.
Laughing until the cows came home…
Or they shut the bar. Whichever is latest.
These tiles. I need them in my life.
In the sea!
This chandelier. For my future beachside home in Cornwall.
Wearing a bikini all day long, to breakfast, lunch, and… alright not dinner.
Photo ops galore.
These little birds that nested into the sand at lunchtime every day.
Eating dinner surrounded by water.
Traditional sega dancing.
Naps at every opportunity… ahem.
Finding snugs and watching the sky go from blue, to pink, to purple, to navy.
Two words. beach and bar.
This view every time you walked in or out of reception.
Bean bags galore.
We stayed at Zilwa Attitude, which is on the North of the island. I would recommend it to ALL OF YOU.
